In this episode, Aaron and Barry fish with Harvey Cochrane for lake sturgeon on the scenic Rainy River. They haven't caught a sturgeon before this trip and can't get over how hard these prehistoric fish fight. The boys are a bit excited!
Rods: 7'2" Medium Heavy action Rapala RType trigger rod; Reels: Rapala Avantis AV200 low profile baitcaster;
Main Line: 30lb Cortland Master Braid; Leaders: 20lb Cortland Master Braid;
Terminal Tackle: 3- to 4-ounce oval lead weights with eyelets on both ends, Gamakatsu 5\0 worm hooks;
Baits: Balled earth worms on hook (approximately 3 to 4) with liberal spraying of Dr.Juice;
Structure: Anchored in back eddy and let baits down into drop off from 22' to 29' and still fished on bottom;
